MyProgolfer was established by PGA Professional Rhodri Lloyd Jones ( Managing Director) in 2004. It all started with Rhodri wanting to offer his clients the best possible service and increase his online presence and the Myprogolfer lesson locker was born.

The problem was how can we give the golfer a tool which makes learning easier and also where can they go after a golf lesson to remember what was taught in a golf lesson. It took 2 years to build and as we were building questions popped up.

The Lesson Locker evolved

What if we integrated into the golf pros site?

What if the pro wanted to send a mailshot?

What if we wanted to start collecting email address and communicate with the golfer.

Rhodri employed web designers to build the system but through out the years became increasingly frustrated with the time his  web developers implemented ideas.

He decided that he was going to have to learn html php javascript. Late night after late night looking at thousands line of code, researching, it slowly started to make sense. Eventually he eliminated the middle man ( wed designers ) and became the web designer. The difference is that Rhodri is a PGA Professional and still is.

I have 2 jobs he says. Teaching golf ( often teaching for 8 hours a day ) and web design for golf professionals in the golf industry.

Over the years Myprogolfer has eveloved into a state of the art web company servicing 43 clients in the golfing industry and climbing.
